Slug-Man: The Video Game

If you're on a Mac, you can download and play this Joust arcade game clone I made back in 2002.

Basically you flap around on Slug-Man and clobber the little Paige-o-trons. Here's a screenshot:

Long ago I came across a book on Mac game programming and included with it was the source code for a number of freeware games, with the idea being that you could mess around with the code and (hopefully) learn a bit about programing in the process. One of the games was Glypha III, by John Calhoun, which was later ported to Mac OS X by Mark Pazolli. Pretty much all I did was modify the graphics and many of the sounds. I did find a bug in the lightning effect at the start, which I fixed, but otherwise I didn't contribute any code.

If you're not a Mac user, I apologize. Please understand that I don't have the programing background or resources to do a port for Windows or Linux. If anyone out there does and wants to volunteer, by all means go for it.
