My webcartoonist friend Scott Kurtz cracked a rib at the Reubens in Boston last month and asked if I could do a guest strip while he was doped up on painkillers. Lesson for the kids: drugs impair your judgment! Anyway, although I had nothing to do with his decision to fling his body off his hotel room bed to catch "air kisses" from Dave Kellett's wife via iChat, I felt a little responsible for encouraging him to attend the Reubens in the first place, so I chipped in a strip in which Jason takes over for the day. It was lots of fun drawing Scott's characters in my art style...hope his fans didn't hate my intrusion too too too much.
